A day out at Brands Hatch

MINI has always had racing in its heart and soul and at Vines of Gatwick we are keeping that alive and kicking. Last month one of our customers Miss Laura Mears wanted to see what her Cooper S was made of and asked us what was the best track to learn the ropes on. This was an easy question to answer as our Sales Manager Steve King is a qualified racing driver who races in the Classic Touring  Car Championship.

We met up at the famous Kent track and Laura went out for her first run on her own to get a feel for it. Steve then went out with Laura for the second session and Laura took to it like a duck to water and as the session went on she got faster and faster. Later that day Steve got her attacking the curbs and pushing the MINI to its limits and beyond the limit of the poor tyres but the MINI and Laura loved it!
